Clearwire:
Strong 4G growth anticipated for 2010-2011.

Clearwire reported its 2009 financial earnings last week, and they surpassed our expectations. In mid-February 2010, Maravedis’ 4GCounts Quarterly Report Issue 10 estimated that Clearwire would reach optimistically 650,000 subscribers of which approximately 300,000 would be served by the CLEAR 4G network. Our estimations were very close, with Clearwire reporting a total of 688,000 subscribers at the end of 2009, of which 438,000 were 4G subscribers, and the remaining were served by its pre-4G markers. These numbers represent 24% quarterly increase in general subscribers and 153% increase in 4G subscribers. This clearly demonstrates Clearwire’s leading position with 4G/mobile WiMAX in the USA over its mobile competitors Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and AT&T which have chosen to go the LTE route... >> Read More |
